Selena interned in Congressman Jim Costa’s Washington D.C. office in the Summer of 2010.She majored in Philosophy and Anthropology at California State University, Fresno.
“Getting to live and work in Washington DC was an irreplaceable experience. I was able to meet some of the most influential people in government, experience the day to day life of working in politics, and contribute to issues that were important to me as a lifelong Central Valley resident.”
Selena went onto graduate from the University of Pacific McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento where she continued to maintain an interest in politics and civic engagement. She works now as a Fresno County Deputy District Attorney, prosecuting felonies.
