Cassidy Smith interned at the D.C. office of Congressman Jim Costa in the Summer of 2009.

Her experience in D.C. greatly influence her decision to earn a Master’s degree at Georgetown University following her graduation from Fresno State.

My Maddy internship with Congressman Jim Costa in his D.C. office not only gave me a firsthand look at how the government functions on a day-to-day basis, it also helped prepare me for working with high-profile executives and managers. In both of the full-time positions I’ve held since finishing school, I’ve worked closely with C-level executives and felt very prepared to do so, in large part due to my time in Congressman Costa’s office.

Cassidy is currently the Principal, Employee and Corporate Communications at Sabre, the premier technology provider to global airlines, hotels, online travel agencies and travel management companies.
