Ana interned in Assemblymember Sarah Reyes’s office in Fresno during the spring of 2003. 

“My Maddy internship experience cemented my belief that I wanted to pursue a life in public service. It showed me how much public service can affect the lives of people every day and that as policy is crafted, that we need to be determined in keeping in mind the realities that our families, businesses, and communities face every day.”

Ana graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelors in Political Science.
